Course introduction, faculty and schedule

“Paul and His Letters” is a five credit point course designed to give the students a deeper view of the Pauline Epistles and their background. These epistles are the foundation of the church age understanding of the person and the work of Christ, and of the role of the church in God’s plan.

The epistles are studied in the order of their writing and a special emphasis is given to the cont-emporary Pauline studies and their results. The teaching itself is anchored in the view that the Bible is inspired and inerrant Word of God. Also the frameworks of Free Grace and Dispensat-ionalism are considered particularly fruitful in finding answers to many controversial interpret-ative questions. The course involves two intensive teaching weekend sessions and several read-ing- and writing assignments.
