The Book of Daniel – The Destiny of God’s People

The book of Daniel is a unique and challenging book amongst the Old Testament prophets.
The ancient Hebrews categorized it as part of the “Writings” due to its powerful stories during their exile in Babylon.
However, in the Christian canon it is placed amongst the prophets as establishes an outline of future prophetic events.

This class presents a view that the uniting theme of the book relates to the destiny and the experience of God’s people under various forces in the world before she finally reaches her ultimate destiny in the glorious kingdom of the Messiah.

Half of the lessons were taught in the classroom and the other half were preached in Wednesday p.m. church services during the months of July and August 2021. The classes are taught only in English, but the messages are also translated in Finnish. 

The course includes four written assignments. The instructor is pastor Arto Nousiainen

9. Class – Daniel 9 – (10.8.) – two parts
10. Message – Daniel 5 – (15.8.)
11. Class Daniel 9 & 6 – (17.8.) – partially continuing Daniel 9
12. Message – Daniel 10 – (18.8.)
13. Class – Daniel 11 – (25.8.)
14. Message – Daniel 12 – (26.8.)
